Accessibility

What this site does

• Semantic HTML headings and landmark structure on every page, with one <h1> per page.
• A visible skip-to-content link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
• Visible keyboard focus states on links, buttons, form controls and the language switcher.
• Support for prefers-reduced-motion — reveal animations are disabled and all content is shown immediately for users who request reduced motion.
• The FAQ on the homepage is built with native <details>/<summary> elements, so it is readable and operable without JavaScript.
• True right-to-left layout for Arabic, including mirrored spacing and directional icons, not just mirrored text.
• A color palette chosen to keep body text readable against the paper and stone backgrounds used throughout the site.

Ongoing accessibility

We use semantic structure, visible keyboard focus, reduced-motion support and right-to-left layout where relevant, and we use feedback to improve accessibility over time.
